Summer 2008 was a prolific time for the creation of new works. My mind was
working on all cylinders while my hands tried to catch up. The summers of 2009
and 2010 were even more productive, as can be seen in the HEARTLAND II process
photographs. During my sabbatical in the spring and summer of 2011 I was able to
complete a great many new Reflected-Light paintings and numerous idea and
related drawings. Be sure to visit the HEARTLAND II Exhibition at Soka
University on my website, or in person, if you find yourselves in Southern
California before January 6, 2012. This page will keep you notified of upcoming
exhibitions, and of the completion of works now in progress, including drawings
and woodcuts left unfinished as I completed the full scale drawings for the
